Nobody would believe that I start my part-time job just because of a pair of shoes. Yes, a pair of MBT shoes, what I need for my dearest girl. One week later, it will be the Valentine’s Day and also her birthday. She, as a sport fan, I think the best present for her is no more than a good pair of shoes. Therefore, MBT shoes become my selection, for it is the first physiological footwear that has a positive effect on the whole body. However, everybody will astonish for its staggering price. Especially for me, such a poor freshman, it is really a test for me to buy one. I have to start my hard part- time job.
The first thing I need consider about is how to earn enough money in a short week. To be frankly, I have never done any jobs before. The picture showed on many TV programs that someone is working hard in the building site rushes into my mind. Maybe I can have a try, for its good pay, though I know how difficult the life will be. To such a challenge I accepted, because love needs payment. I cannot stop be jubilant once I imagine her happiness smile.
From now on I start my tough life as a stevedore on a ship. Life is tough, but I am tougher with my love. I always tell myself so once I want to give up. Looking at my first bucket of gold is gradually increased; I can’t describe my happy mood. After all it is my first time to have such a taste for my love.
February 14 is coming, and I have earned 700 U.S. dollars till now. Taking the money I rush to the MBT shoes store, and select a pair of pink MBT shoes. They look delicate and beautiful and their price just is 699 U.S. dollars. I reserve the one dollar, and take the packed shoes to the restaurant I and my beloved girl will meet.
It is not an elegant or romantic restaurant but does a comfortable place. I wait there quietly. Sooner she comes in with a beautiful white dress.
It is in my plan that she would be utterly astonished when she sees the present. Just what out of my plan is she also sends me a pair of MBT shoes as the present for Valentine’s Day? She uses up all her saved money. I am deeply moved by her, too.
What a day today! The Valentine’s Day, her birthday, in such a special day with two pairs of MBT shoes, the two lovers will love each other forever.
