My boyfriend tells me that I look like I’m a teenager; my cousin says in her adorable French accent that they are called uggs because they are ugly; and I have heard more than one person swear that they are the worst footwear trend of the century (worse than Crocs? Really?).

NEWPORT council’s trading standards department received three complaints in the run up to Christmas from residents who have attempted to buy ugg Australia Boots online.
The purchases were made on three different websites claiming to sell the authentic ugg Australia boots but all of which have been found to originate in China.
The complaints have included the buyer not receiving the product they had already paid for or the goods being fakes and of poor quality when they arrived.
