Ron White opens a 3,000-square-foot flagship store in Yorkdale Mall

Yorkdale Mall announced another massive makeover at the beginning of this year, and on April 23, Canadian shoe retailer Ron White joined such names as Tiffany & Co., Burberry and Louis Vuitton. The 3,000-square-foot space is roughly double the size of the previous Ron White flagship at the Manulife Centre. It will offer a variety of new products, including two new designer collections and an entire section dedicated to Ron White’s “Signature” line, which debuted at the Golden Globes back in January.

The new Ron White flagship has amassed eastern Canada’s largest Frye boot, bag and accessories collection, which is said to remain in-store year-round for trend-free shopping. Also new to the flagship store is John Varvatos footwear and Badgley Mischka handbags and accessories, alongside an entire salon dedicated to White’s Signature Collection (a high-end line that was recently picked up by Lord and Taylor). According to spokesperson Deb McCain, all the shoes in the Signature Collection have white bottoms—“the [Louboutin] red bottom is over, the white bottom is where it’s at and it’s all Ron White,” she told us. “Everything you love about Ron White will still be available [at this new location], just more.” We’re not exactly convinced Louboutin is “over” just yet, but we are excited to see White’s bottoms go toe to toe for sole supremacy.
