Jason Wu hopes new collection woos Target shoppers

Jason Wu, who became an overnight sensation in 2009 after Michelle Obama, as the newly appointed first lady, made the rounds of Inaugural Balls in one of his dresses, is the latest designer to partner with Target to bring his brand of Style to the masses.
Wu’s 53-piece collection, which hits stores and Target.com on Feb. 5, comes hot on the heels of Target’s website-crashing collaboration with the Italian Fashion house known for its zigzag.
But Wu isn’t worried.

Veteran designer Wendell Rodricks has carried the sartorial legacy of Goa to a new level by documenting it in "Moda Goa" – a first-of-its kind pictorial and illustrative Fashion chronicle of the state. He says Goa was the cradle of Indo-Western couture.

George Clooney was worried that his khakis-and-Hawaiian-shirts wardrobe in ‘The Descendants’ ruined his masculinity.

Jewelry store robbery suspects held on high bail

WOBURN, Mass. — Four suspects were in court and charged in connection with a jewelry store robbery that led to the shooting of a Woburn police officer on Thursday.
Last September the suspects were all allegedly involved in a heist at Musto Jewelers in Woburn. All four suspects — including the daughter of a Boston police officer — face up to 40 charges each.

Until Houston gets its own H&M, no trip to Dallas is complete without a shopping stop at NorthPark Center, currently one of two spots in Texas for an H&M fix. The other H&M opened in November at Town East Mall in the Dallas/Mesquite area.
