To start with, I am not a professional collector but I have got this interest in collecting prom dresses. Prom dresses, bride dresses and wedding accessories and cocktail dresses, all of them are my favorite. You may want to know the reason why and how I started collecting these prom dresses.

Well, this hobby started on my graduation prom. It was like our biggest day ever. Everybody wanted to dress different from others and in the meantime gracious. I still remember that I was wearing that black little dress, and my best friend Bonnie was wearing her favorite white dress, like a little princess. The design of that white dress is ankle-length and makes you look like a goddess with its simple, elegant Style. Paired with a white clutch, you could be the starlet of the night in this bright color. She got some high heels to go under that long dress and create the look of an elongated longer body that will make her as tall as a model, while my style was completely different with that little black dress right up my knees with my four-inch high-heeled shoes. If you want to choose a word to describe that it would be sexy. The two of us were like the shining stars at that prom. Surely some guys came to invite us to a dance and that was great. But I was more concerned with what kind of proms the girls were wearing, because the diversity and charm of prom dresses totally attracted me. Since then, collecting prom dresses became my biggest joy.

It’s really an expensive hobby to keep. I mean those gorgeous prom dresses, especially designed by famous designers really cost a lot. Sometimes I fell in love with that dress but could not afford to pay that, and that is really a heart broken moment. The thing is that you have to adjust yourself to that circumstance. So many years have passed and I think I’ve got used to it. The best idea for me is to take the picture down and appreciate it, like always. Also sometimes cheap wedding dresses are also cute.
