Rihanna is the new face of Emporio Armani.
The ‘California King Bed’ singer has been signed up by the Italian Fashion house to appear campaigns for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani jeans. Rihanna – who will appear in ads for the fall-winter 2011-2012 collections, which were shot in New York City and debut in September – follows in the footsteps David and Victoria Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Megan Fox in representing the brand.

Rihanna hat einen neuen Job an Land gezogen. Die rothaarige Schönheit wird das neue Werbegesicht für Armani. Da die Sängerin für die Unterwäsche des Modehauses werben wird, ist Rihanna nicht nur das Gesicht, sondern auch der Körper der neuen Kampagne.
Neben der Unterwäsche wird die 23-jährige außerdem für die Jeans der italienischen Modemarke werben. Es ist für beide Seiten vermutlich ein äußerst lukrativer Deal.
Bereits im September sollen die ersten Bilder von Rihanna für Emporio Armani veröffentlicht werden. Bis dahin müssen wir uns noch gedulden.

Two members of the Ibrahim family have been charged with kidnapping a man.
Hassan "Sam" Ibrahim, his sister Armani Stelio, family bodyguard Semi "Tongan Sam" Ngata and Alicia Sutherland have been charged after a man was allegedly detained at a Ryde unit and taken against his will to a nearby ANZ bank.

When you enter the chic lobby of the property -after the doors, of course, have been opened for you by doormen in all-black Armani uniforms -your lifestyle manager magically appears.
Somehow he knows your name and greets you by it before whisking you up to your suite.

When Giorgio Beverly Hills was in its heyday, from the late 1960s to the late 1980s, Rodeo Drive was not lined with the kind of marquee designer flagships that are located there today. There was no prada Epicenter, with its arty open facade, or faux Italianate Via Rodeo shopping complex (that was a parking lot). And there certainly was nothing like today’s Bebe and Guess stores, which would seem better suited to a suburban shopping mall than a billionaire’s boulevard.
