The gucci Resort 2009 Collection in particular is looking to be promising, as it’s bestowing a combination of hippy and nautical flairs to the runway. This is a great year for Gucci. Frida Giannini and her people are showing off a few amazing collections this year, which include apparel, shoes, purses, and iPod cases.

The apparel gives off a 1970s vibe, and a few stand-outs include: scarf prints with seashell patterns, cross-laced blouses, and seude jackets. Yup, it seems that gypsy dresses, thigh high smocks, and disco blouses are finally back, as Frida Giannini quoted Jane Birkin and Talitha Getty as two of her inspirations for the Resort 2009 Collection.

Indeed, the Gucci brand has a few very elegant looks nowadays. The colours are a reflection autumn, so expect to see a good deal of Gucci Style this fall. Rusted orange, white, and brown are 3 colours we can all expect to see a good deal of in the forthcoming months. Models look as if they have literally stepped out of a time machine from the seventies. Even those who do not care much for hippy or disco styles will find a lot of of the clothes or bags to be attractive.

Another bag that will look good with the Gucci Resort 2009 Collection is the New Jackie Shoulder Bag. The traditional, Guccissima logo looks wonderful decorated in the leather, and the overall design is casual, yet attractive. The Guccissima Shoulder Bag in particular looks good with its soft grey color. The grey will look great with pretty much every thing, especially with many of the new designs coming out soon.

As for the bags, the 2009 autumn collection is going to be rather predictable. There are some notable exceptions that will certainly stand out, including the Sukey Guccissima Leather Tote. The gold GG logo is adorned attractively on this double-handled leather bag. It is beautiful, polished, and even on the low-cost side for a Gucci bag.
